It&#039;s unfortunate that the higher education system as a whole is becoming too much of a business, while neglecting the fundamental principle of education: to serve the public. Nevertheless, I also believe that competition drives technology and innovation. I suppose if competition is kept at a healthy standard, the business side of the university wouldn&#039;t be driven too much out of control. What this ultimately comes down to is the behavior of human beings themselves. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My two cents of philosophy!</description>
